Our hospital is an accredited member of the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), the world’s leading association for small animal practitioners. In order to become an AAHA member, our facility completed a 39 page self-assessment reviewing our hospital’s services and facilities. We also have a trained AAHA practice consultant regularly evaluate our facility, equipment,, and procedures to make certain we comply with all AAHA veterinary care standards. And we are proud to have reached the highest of the AAHA levels possible, a three year accreditation.

Our preventative care includes:
- Preventative care annual wellness examinations and laboratory screening
- Senior and geriatric wellness examinations and laboratory screening
- Dental Care
- Nutrition and diet
- Behavioral counseling
- Parasite control
- Disease prevention
- Immunizations: vaccination and disease prevention recommendations have changed significantly over the last few years. Our doctors will work with you to help decide what’s right for your pets lifestyle.
Emergency & Urgent Care
We have a trained team on duty 6 days a week who are equipped to handle urgent care. Do not hesitate to call or come in immediately if you ever feel that your pet needs emergency treatment. If possible, it is best to call before coming in so we can do necessary preparations.
Veterinary acupuncture is used to help relieve pain and improve function in various locations. Acupuncture is a form of therapy in which fine needles are inserted into specific points on the body, most commonly, in the superficial skin and muscles. Based on Western Based Acupuncture, points are chosen based on exam findings and observation of the animal. These needles stimulate the local tissues and nerves to reorganize, causing increased blood flow to the area and endogenous endorphin release, working in conjunction with the body’s natural healing process.
Animals tolerate acupuncture very well, relaxing and laying quietly during the treatment with very minimal restraint needed (if any at all). The sessions can last anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes. Often times, 4-6 sessions will be needed before a positive response is noticed.
Falls Road Veterinary Hospital offers many different vaccinations for your pet. Required dog vaccinations include Rabies, Distemper, Bordetella, and Canine Influenza Virus. We offer other vaccines for dogs as well.
